According to this, all 2001 filers should be approved in next three months. By the end of the year, nine moths from now, TSC will be processing last 2002 cases. My case will be approved a year from now and people filing today will get a green card in a year and a half.

Not too bad?
Can afford it?
Unacceptable?

The Dallas District of USCIS has announced that on May 3, 2004, it will launch a pilot project to determine whether adjustment of status applications (using Form I-485) can be adjudicated within 90 days. The pilot program will track different aspects of the adjudication process to determine its strengths and weaknesses.
