551 stamping

Hello Everybody,

I need help in my matter anybody in similar situation? - i moved from NJ to La recently. I have taken a infopass appointment at local office for 551 stamping in may PP. I submited my 485 approval letter photographs to the officer but he askd me for any proof of current address. I currently moved to LA so i don't have any photo id with me. He asked me to get any doc that shows i am residing at La :confused: . Unfortunately i was not carrying my apartment lease papers. Can anybody tell me what all should I carry for the next visit Also please help me giving full no and procedure to call 1800 no. for the change of address .

If you permanently moved from NJ to LA, then California law requires you to apply for a CA driving license within ten days. It currently only takes about a week to get a CA driving license. (That's how long mine took last month). That would have your current address on it. Or, you could return with your apartment lease papers, or perhaps any new utility bills?

As far as changing address, given that you have your 485 approval and are seeking stamping, I believe the only thing you need to do is to file form AR-11, which you can find here:

Did they stamp you with 551 stamp in your PP. They now directed me to a 888 Welshire bldg - biometric office for stamping as i am staying in pasadena
Did you face the same problem
