4th EAD got approved today.

3 EAD approved last week. I give up guys .
GC journey not going to end . It will take at list 4 more years to complete the Name check. by the time all visa is going to finish .
First reason wait: back ground check is not complete.
Second reason wait: Name check is not clear . By the time Name check cleared and all Okey with case.
Third Reason wait : Visa number is not available.

EAD approval not related to I-485 (???)
Folks,
My 2 cents... please do not read into too much about EAD approval with respect to I-485 approval.
My GC got approved on July 11, 2007 but EAD got approved on July 20, 2007!. yes 9 days after my GC approval my 4th EAD got approved. I thought it would be rejected/ignored/dumped/... but the truth is I have the fourth EAD.

My wife's EAD is not yet approved whereas my EAD and AP are approved on 8/7 and 8/8.
She has visa number assigned. Does it cause problem for her EAD and AP not getting approved

my i485 applications are with USCIS San Jose Local office. We are interviewed in October 2005 with PD of 11/2004 - EB2.We are interviewed in South Portland Maine office and when we relocated to California they transferred the applications to San Jose office.
When visa bullentin came out to be current for July with mess up we asked the Local IO officer what is happening with our applications.At one time i said I need to speak with the Supervisor and he came and i asked him all the questions.
He mentioned that when they completed review they requested visa numbers in E37(primary) and E39(derivative) and she was assigned visa number but i was not lucky and did not get visa number.He added that there are lot of unused visa numbers returning to DOS and "if i am lucky" i may get one with the request otherwise i have to wait till the PD comes current.
This is the bad luck and unfortunate that Service Centers(NSC & TSC) have taken all the visa numbers by working on the weekend where are Local Offices did not request and they wasted time by saying they need to review the applications even after the review is completed during interview.
That is my story. I am deeply disappointed and angry because they did mistakes on top of everything by treating my application as EB3 and requesting in EB3 when my application is EB2 approved I140. If they had requested in EB2 I would have got. Now I have to make them correctt the error.
