Update

There is an update on my status:

"On August 18, 2004, the results of your fingerprint review for your
I485 Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status were
received, and processing has resumed on your case. We will mail you a
notice if further action is needed, or when a decision is made."

Any idea what does it mean? Does it mean my case is still active and somebody ( hopefully !) is working on it ?

hmm ..thats good nice guy.
Me and wife did early FP on Aug 11th ..the appointment was for Sept 7th.
Till now, there is no status change and my case is missing on the AVM too.
Strange ..weird ..

Similar update on my online status also. Though my wife got the FP notice and actual FP done with me, her status has had no update since the case was received by USCIS with 'normal processing time of 760 days' message.
I am not particularly concerned, I think they are only updating 1 case online. Also, yesterday the EAD and AP dates have now moved beyond my RD/ND but I haven't made any progress on either.

case still missing on AVM ..

When i try to access my 485 on the AVM of USCIS, i still get the same message ..
"..we are not able to retrieve your information at this point of time, please try again later ..".

Is anyone in the same boat ?
 
How many days after FP

Hi guys

I did my FP on 8/25 so far i have not seen aany update on my 485 ...or any where can someone please tell me how long it takes to update FP or 485 once i receive that

Not even 2 full days after FP --- relax :D

Should be updated within a week or 10 days :)
 
FP Notice

Hello all,

I filed 140 & 485 concurrently with RD dates of August 14, 2004. I got both EAD and AP approved for myself and for my wife. However, no signs of FP yet.

Another thing is that I already have a pending 140 and 485 applications (RD 09/08/2003) at the same service center CSC from my previous company (had to change jobs because my old co. was going down). And I did finger printing in April, 2004 for the previous 485 application.

Is this causing any delay for 485 or are they trying to use the april, 2004 fingerprints.

Buddy, you are so lucky to get EAD/AP so fast. M RD is 9th Aug, I haven't received my EAD/AP.

Relax, you should be getting FP very soon. I heard it comes within 2 months.

Same her mine AP/EAD Date is Jul23 no update yet

did early FP on Aug 11th - no update yet.

Did early FP on Aug 11th, actual appointment was for sept 7th ..no update till now on the website status!
its now more than 2 weeks since we got it done.
Case still missing on AVM ..:(
