I checked online status and it shows an RFE was mailed on AUGUST 6th. I / Lawyer did not recieve RFE yet.

Anybody as same issue. Any suggestion what to do.

Can we just assume the RFE to be for Employment letter and send the necessary papers to BCIS before i get the RFE mail?

Any repsonse would be appreciated

Have some patience Buddy. It would be really stupid to reply to RFE without knowing exactly for why CIS has raised the RFE. If I were you, I would pray that the RFE is routine one and as soon as I received it, I will reply with all necessary documents as per the RFE's requirement.

I understand that it is really frustrating to get RFE's when others are getting their approvals, but there is nothing one can do to go through the stressful process of GC. Just hang in there and everything will be fine by the end of the day! Good Luck to you.

Arjun, I am sure RFE lost becz of invalid address. (if so, after 2 weeks that online msg says undeliverable.) Ask your lawyer to talk to INS to issue a duplicate copy to correct address

Actually, you can call the NCSC and request them to send you another copy as you have not received the RFE even after 2 weeks of issuance and also your lawyer can also call them. Just to be sure, ask your lawyer to write a letter to CIS about it and see if that helps.

I too faced same problem. Recetly Lawyer received RFE papers, those went to his old address. On INS file , they had old address. Better to check with INS through lawyer.

What is your online status message??? "On August 06, 2004, we requested ......" or "On August 06, 2004, we responded ......"

If "requested" then it is RFE.
If "responded" then it is a status inquiry reply from USCIS.

Make sure it is a RFE first.
