485 RFE transfered to Chicago INS.

Hi, I have applied for 485 with details:
Category: EB2
I-485 Receipt Date: 08/28/2000
I-485 Notice Date: 09/20/2000
Finger Print Date: 02/XX/2001
Service Center: Nebraska
My case had an RFE for myself for affidavits for date of birth.
My wife\'s had a request for copy of H4 status. Both completed documents were sent last month to INS. Yesterday (12/19/01) INS has transfered my case to Chicago INS. Did anyone go thru similar process. How long is it going to take for processing at Local CHicago INS. Is there any way to expedite the process.

Please let me know.

What does that mean by a copy of H4 status for your wife. Is that current or all past history.

Was that a copy of the last H4 approval in her name based on your H1?
In my friend\'s case, it took less than a week to get processed. Hence keep you should be hearing anytime now. But that was for Birth certificate only.
