485 RFE - L2 EAD expired but worked for 2 months.

Hello Gurus,

I seek your advice. I am on L1A and my wife on L2. Her EAD was valid till 12/11/03 but she has worked till 02/14/04.

I140 was approved Dec 2004 (together)
I485 RD Jan 2005 (together)
EAD Approved (applied only for self) no RFE
AP approved for both no RFE
I485 RFE July 2005 for me Biographic information / Letter from employer on intent to continue employment.
I485 RFE July 2005 for my wife - not yet received the letter...

Will the two months of working after the EAD approved affect any one of our applications?
Is there a grace period in this kind of Visa?

Please advice!
 
Usually, the grace period is 180 days or pay a penalty of $1000. Your wife was close to the limit. You should be O.K.

I got my wife's RFE as well today. USCIS requested the same biographic form for her too... hope fully everything will go smoothly.

I wanted to post this as an FYI in case any one else has the same query.

Hi, I have got the RFE for submit original letter stating date of hire, duties, renumeration and prospect for continued employment.

Can you please give me the template of your letter.
