485 Registration notice?

Hello,

Finally, my I 485 approved but what is this registration notice and ADIT?

"Current Status: Notice mailed welcoming the new permanent resident.

On August 23, 2007, we mailed you a notice that we had registered this customer's new permanent resident status. Please follow any instructions on the notice. Your new permanent resident card should be mailed within 60 days following this registration or after you complete any ADIT processing referred to in the welcome notice, whichever is later. If you move before you get your new card call customer service. "

Congrats! You need to complete the biometrics for the card to be ordered. Can you please post details about the PD, RD, TSC original/transfer and FP.

Are you sure about the biometrics? My approval notice says the same thing about ADIT, but I also got the Card Ordered e-mail. And my latest FP were done in May 2007.

I140/I 485 - Concurrently filed 6/12/06(TSC), Schedule A, India

Primary applicant ; I 485 AD - 8/26/06
Derivative Applcant, AD - 8/23/07
FP : 6/26/06

Thanks for clarifying the ADIT process. In one of the thread someone mentioned biometrics has something to do with the ADIT message.
 
Card received

Received the card and welcome notice today. No need of FP or passport stamping.
