485 question??

Hi,
My I140 with company A is cleared. Before approval, as the company was in bad shape I changed my job to company B. Now company A doesn\'t exist, its bought over by another one. Now I work in H1B visa with company B.
Now my question is can I apply for I485 in this situation? I have the I140 approval notice with me. They won\'t cancel my approval...
any way to apply for I485? I work in a similar job in company B...

I don\'t think you can use your I140

with the new employer for applying 485.....you can retain your priority date but you have to redo the whole process right from the labor........

I had similar experinece and had to start all over.
