Is the time frame for 485 processing same for Employement based and non-employment based categories? I know a person who filed his 485 application nearly 2 years back in a non EB category and since he did has not heard from INS for finger printing or any other purpose. And I on the otherhand filed my 485 in sept \'01 and and did my fringer printing in dec \'01. Please comment.
