485 Priority Date

My Labour was filed on Aug 2001, I got my I-140 approved on Mar, 2006. The visa bulletin shows the current visa date for EB3 category as 15th Apr, 2001. Should I wait till the visa date becomes Aug, 2001 before I could file my 485? Or can I do it right now. Kindly Advice.

-- your PD is the date LC was recieved by DOL and if that date is current you can file I-485.
you did not post the date LC was recieved by SWA or SESA(DOL).
