Our 485 has been pending for more than a year. My wife, the dependent, was admitted and will go to school full-time in June. She is not going to work during school.

1. Can she go to school full-time?
2. What documents do we need to prove her status - EAD or the receipt of 485 filing?
3. We have not applied for EAD yet. Is it too late now to apply for her to make June 1 enrollment date, if EAD is needed for her to go to school?

Thanks!

I dont think EAD is needed for education.
Having said that, it depends upon the college/university and/or course/degree being persued.
The university expects the student to be a legal US resident. I would suggest u talk to the HR dept of the univ and find out what r their requirements.

My wife went to for a post grad (Ms. Ed) while still on on a H4. Infact, she has completed the whole course and is still on H4 with no issues.
