485 Pending. H1/H4 Transfer Issues

Some time back I switched from Company A to B and then B to C
H4 transfers were not done for my wife at that time.
but she has a Visa stamping thru Comapany A till Mid May 2004.
and now my H1 through Comapany C expires Mid Jun 2004

I applied 140 / 485(for both of us) concurrent filing through Company C and EAD is pending for me .

Will My wife have any problems with her Status.

** Should I have to do a H4 transfer or the 485 Pending will take care of her status

**Will it be better if I apply for EAD for her now ??


Please advise.

There is no such thing as an "H4 transfer", as the dependent H-4s are tied only to the H1 holder, not his/her employer. So long as you remain in H-1 status, she is in H-4. Once your H expires, her pending I-485 will keep her in status.

Only if she wants to work or get an SSN. Otherwise it's a waste of money.
