is it possible to have a situation when 485 can be pending for over 3 years at Vermont? please let me know if that has occured to you or if you're close.
My I-485 is pending since 2/02 at Nebraska. No reason is given to me. Try faxing your inquiry to the FBI office at 202-324-3367 if your security check is cleared. Please let me know if you get response.
