485 pending and traveling overseas, using H1-B or AP?

Immi Gurus,

My 485 was filed in DEC 2001, both AP and EAD have been approved. I will have to travel overseas in the next a couple of months. Should I use AP or H1-B -- which will be expired around DEC 2003 -- to get back in US?

I am in same boat. My Lawyer insisted that I use my AP.

You can Use your H1 if you have a multiple entry.

Keep all your documents with you just in case. You can just use your H1. Do not show other docs like 485
 reciets etc. unless asked for . you will be fine.

Can AP only be used for limited times?

Is it true that you can only use AP for limited times, since AP has only 3 pages (2 with photo on it, 1 is blank)?
