I had applied 485 in Feb 2004 but not get FP notice yet. Mine is EB2 case. Since VSC processing dates says that they processed until Jan 2004, I must have got FP notice by now.
Is this unusual. Is there any one who did not get FP notice yet and filed in Feb 2004. When I called VSC, they told my case had not been touched yet.

a friend of mine who filed end of Feb 2004 already got approved. I am not sure what should you do, but it's very unusual to see you haven't been called for FP. some friends of mine who filed from April to December of 2004 got FP notices...

Let me ask you, did you apply for EAD/AP ? If so, I would suggest to apply for a renewal, that may trigger a notice for biometrics including fingerprinting.

Sometime back you posted that your spouse's case was approved. Did you receive the approval notice?

csctmc,
My wife's online status is back to original. VSC told our case is not touched yet.
I had applied for EAD renewal. I hope that will trigger FP. We moved from east-coast to west coast. Not sure if that is causing any delay.

as we all know it's better not to move during AOS.... my company moved last year, and they lost my wife's 485 receipt somewhere in the mail... it took us 9 mo to recover her receipt notice.

maybe your FP notice is somewhere in the mail too, as online status not always updates to FP notice mailed... at least our cases had old "App received" status for over a year... actually it changed only today for my case.

Move is inevitable if we work as consultants. But it should not impact our application logically speaking provided the employer remains the same

I am sure that mail is not lost and they had right address on their record because I called them and they told that FP is not sent yet.
I got address change confirmation for me as well as for my spouse. As I am in consulting I had taken next available project. If I did know that it will cause delay, I would have tried to stay at same place.
Though not sure if changing the address triggers some additional check and the delay.
