485 LUD after fingerprinting

I did my fingerprint today around 11:45 AM central time. Finished around 20 past noon. When I came back home and checked around 5 PM same day, LUD is already updated. I think LUD is updated immediately as all of the systems are interconnected. I do not think seeing LUD immediately after fingerprint does not mean FBI fingerprint is already cleared. Just look at my case.
Fingerprint date: 1 Nov 2007 11:45AM
LUD on I485: 1 Nov 2007 5:00PM

When I checked in today morning on online status before left for fingerprinting, it was not updated yet. I do not think my fingerprint is cleared within 5 hours.
But at the same time, how about friends on this forum whose 485s are not LUD yet after a few days? I do not know what is going on at each service center.
Anyone has any idea with this?

Which ASC did you went
alos i had fingerprinting today at Newark
 
I just got one done at NYC, it doesnt have anything to do with name check clearing, it's probably just an update to show IO that you met your appt, and your biometrics are sent to FBI

I went to Lubbock, Texas ASC. I think Immigraboy is right. It might just be submitting to FBI something like that. But some people in other threads have not their 485s LUDs yet several days after FP. Confusing...
I will update if there is any followup LUD.
 
I actually got a second LUD. I read that several others in the forum got a second LUD, but most don't get it. Who knows.
 
FP code three ????

I have to go on Wednesday. From what I read on the internet search , code 3 is 10 fingers, index finger, digital photo and signature.
My question is, how many more pictures do they need. We sent in already 6 per person when we did the 485 (EAD + AP).
Any info appreciated.

6 pictures? I had to send in only two... Maybe your law firm uses some for their files?

The digital photo is to be used on your GC, and you won't need to worry about it anymore.
 
Did FP yesterday for me and wife and both of us saw the LUD change yesterday after a few hours. TSC. Code 3. Can anyone put in a quick post of how do we know if FBI name check clears or where we can know status (except infopass or calling IO's after a few months). Thanks.
