485 issue with NIH

I am with H1b visa right now and am going to accept an offer from NIH. NIH will sponsor another H1b visa. However, I applied for NIW+485 early this year and I140 was approved. My question is that whether NIH will ask USCIS deny my I-485? Because I hear that NIH refuse all J-1 waiver, so I wonder if they will absurd absurd enough to block my I-485 ?

Any comments? Thank you very much for your input.

not a chance....you are not J1 anyways...and NIH is sponsoring your H1B. Given that your approved 140 is NIW (regardless that you are taking a job with NIH)..it is a good idea to work on NIH sponsored H1B rather than your EAD. (just because with NIW you feel sureshot secure only after you have your 485 approval).....
btw, you concocted an interesting conspiracy theory!!!

Once your I-140 is approved, NIH couldnt do anything, you should be safe

They do sponsor H1b, if J-1 is not suitable to you. I was on J-1 visa, and after waivering, H1b is the only choice. Maybe it is not quite right, O-1 is another one. You can get more information from their website.
