I got my adjustment of status interview in the next month. The reason I guess is I got arrested by the border security even though I am in legal status, when my H1 was in extension. If any one has this type of problem please let me know, what kind of proof or documents I have to show other than all my previous H1 copies and the letter submitted by my attorney when I was in detention.

I got arrested and been in detention center for couple of days and the immigration officer in charge at the detention center came to know that I got arrested unlawfully and been released without any case, but did not give me any kind of documents stating that there is no case. But during this time I got finger printed and photographed.

If any one had this kind of problem, please let me know what else I need to submit to get my Green card approved.

I got arrested for DUI less than three yrs ago. My case was transfered to LA OFFICE in Feb-26 and I haven't heard anything as of yet...no interview date...nothing...You are right, we are getting interview because we have been arrested////in your case, you haven't done anything so don't worry...I highly suggest that you talk to an attorney about this...Criminal court should have the compy of you arrest paperwork...Maybe you need to go to the Criminal court and ask them to put your name in the computer to see what comes up and get a copy of that and show it to your attorney...I am NOT an attorney and I tell you what I know, at least that is what I am going to be doing for my case...

BTW, what is your RVD date and how long did it take to get an interview...Thanks for your help and GOOD LUCK!!!!!!

I got arrested/questioned by immgration at the boarder and fingerprinted and photographed, when trying to enter canada. Unlawful presense in the country.

My fingerprint showed that, I was arrested, but left the country.
I had interview on dec 3, when officer asked me for any arrest, I told him about this, he said, I have it. He didnt ask any question about my arrest.

But.. I didnt get approved. I had employment change, only due to that reason, he said he need revies more.

After 1 1/2 months later, received denial letter, not bcos of arres, bcos of I140 withdrawn. Which I have an approved I140.

Anyway, at the time of interview, just tell the truth, everything should be ok.

RD/ND - Octorber 2002 texas service center
transferred - Oct 2004
Interview - Dec 2004
Denied - Feb 2005
MTR filed - Feb 2005
now waiting... to see what's next to happen

I am sure that you are going to be just fine!!!!
