485 Interview for couple living in different cities..

Hi,
We recently received an interview notice for dependent while there is no update on the primary applicant. Here are details..

- We live in different cities, Interview for dependent is in Seattle
- We went through infopass and the NameCheck for primary is cleared
- The primary applicant has to be there for the dependets interview.


I would really appreciate if anyone let us know how this works?
Does this mean that we both will be interviewed at the same time or would there be another interview for the primary?

You will both be interviewed at the same time. They will also consider the fact that you two are living in two different cities *HIGHLY* suspect unless there is a valid/good reason/explanation as to why. I.E. - you go to school out there and she has work in the hometown or som'n like that... that's the best example I could give in one minute anyhow!!
 
Doable but tricky. There must be real good justification to the separation of primary dwellings. Good luck!!!

The reason for confusion is because the officer during the infopass mentioned that the primary will be interviewed later again in Phoenix in next couple of months.
