485 in Review ? Pl. Comment

I called FBI for finger printing results. The said they sent on the same day as received.

I then called for FBI Name check. They told me that I can call after 2 months since they are busy and working on a new 'Project' right now.

Finally I called TSC to see if they received my name check from FBI. I did not get a straight answer. She is extremely nice with me and told me that "your application is ready to be adjudicated but the status says it is in review And in essence it is pending". I could not get any more info than this.

Guys.. Any interpretation? Any chances for me before 1st of October ???

If you get extremely lucky then you should see approval before Oct 1. Ofcourse I am assuming that you are EB2. If you are EB3 then nothing will happen because all EB3 are retrogressed. I have always had mixed results while calling the TSC. At times I have been given good information while other times its been total BS. I hope you turn out to be one of the lucky ones ..

Try Your A#

They might be able to find the status of name check if you insist give them your alien number. Call twice and even three times if you couldn't get what you want. I found that the status of FP, RFE and name checks is under the applicant's alien number.

(This Phone number was given by a rep who responded my call to FBI Fingerprint Status 304.625.2000).

In essence, the message is "They are busy" and I was advised to give mail to FBINNCP@ic.fbi.gov , but it takes 3-6 months to get a reply back.

Finally I called TSC to know that my name check was cleared by FBI a day after I gave FP
