485 ND 8/2000. Nothing was heard until fingerprint notice 5/2005. At the appointment, full set of prints was taken, and then they also took the index finger, picture and electronic signature. At the end, the staff said "you will receive your GC in the mail". This seems to be different than what I have been reading on this forum. Most people with similar ND were fingerprinted in 2004, received RFI/RFE 2005, then biometrics and approval afterwards.
Can what the staff told me be accurate? Would they have that type of knowledge at the support centers or do they just say that to everyone? Is it possible that approval would be made without RFI/RFE? And has anyone else had an exxperience where they took both the fingerprints and biometrics cuncurrently as in my case? Thanks in advance for your responsse.
