485 filed, plan to return home-options?

Hi guys,
I filed for 485 in July 07 (PD aug 2006-EB3 india). 140 is approved. I plan to return back to India for good around march 2009.
If GC is not approved by then, Do I have any choice where in I can stay out of the country and keep the GC process going. What are the options available?

please help.
 
Hee Hee....If you plan to return to India (home country) for good...why do you need GC? You may need GC - if you want to come back....

If you want to go to home country - then you should try Consular Processing....because if they issue Finger Print Notice afer March 09....and you are not in USA to give it....they may deny your 485....hence, Consular Processing might be a better option.....for you ....
