Hi,
I have a different situation (after reading couple posts here).

My application is in final stage, I got FP notice, got my EAC (Employment Authorization Card) & travel document.

My concern is that I am planning to get married soon,

1. Now that I got my EAC would my visa status would change from H1 to EAC automatically?

2. If I get married, would it be easy to bring my wife here without much trouble. On what visa I would be able to bring her here.

Is there anything I should consider before I get married.

Any advice is greatly appreciated.
 
h1 should be ok

if your h1 is valid for a long time, having an EAD does not matter. You can still bring your would be on H4. What\'s most important is to get married and probably initiate h4 visa before your approval for 485 comes through because once approved, I beleive it takes a longer time for your wife to join you. Of course, check with your lawyer anyway about specifics of your case.
 
helpout is right; you still continue to be on H1 as long as you don\'t activate your EAD by

taking up a part-time job or by switching employers using EAD. But more importantly, you need to get married before your I-485 is approved, get her here on a H4 and add her to your I-485 application becoz otherwise it will take years for your wife to join you here.
