All,

Pls share any thoughts on 485, Denial of dependent applicant.
Primary Applicant has been approved. I am looking for all possible reasons on by which denial can be issued.

Dependent History,

Comes to US on B1 Visa - gets H1 - some desi consultancy - works on H1 - starts own company - H1 of owned company - gets married - hubby applies for GC - dependent starts working on EAD - current 485 is being reviewed for dependent applicant.

On Biographical Information dependent Applicant has maiden name in passport/ h1, whereas in 485 application name is changed to husband last name

There has never been any gaps in H1,did not work for 1.5 yrs and did not file for taxes for one year after marriage.

Thanks

Hi,
Unfortunately, my wife's case has been denied. My case was approved 01/28/2005. I completed my finger-printing on sep 14, 2004. But because my wife was in India at that time, I rescheduled my wife's finger-printing with the Application Support center. After that I never received a new finger printing notice for my wife even after making inquiries. Then when attorney started an inquiry after my approval we were sent a letter saying my wife's case has been denied due to "failure to appear for finger-printing". I had proof of rescheduling so attorney has filed an appeal to reopen the case. We are waiting to hear, with fingers crossed.
