485 delays, Lawyers and AILA

Hi,

I do not think lawyers or AILA will be interested in pursuing 485 delays. More the delays, more revenue for these folks in terms in renewals and other work.

We should bring this to the attention of the media and the administration.

I do not understand the logic. Attorneys get more money because their customers cases are delayed? At least in my case It doesn't matter how long my case takes; I pay my attorney( that is a member of AILA) the same fee. Of course if I renew my EAD I have to pay the INS fees and my attorney doesn't get extra pay.

Attorneys are making money

When I renewed EAD & AP for me & my wife, I paid $1500 to Attorney. But the INS fees only $460. :(
