485 delay in general ???

Hi All,

I have heard yesterday from a friend that, INS is going to delay all GC processing for 2 years. I was shocked. I don\'t know to what extent this is true. If any of you get anything, please reply me. I am unhappy for this begging.

my case : rd - july, 2001 ND - August 01, FP - Nov 01 waiting for approval notice.
 
Another rumor!

Can you please confirm which source your "friend" got this information from? We guys suffer too much and would not like to be discouraged, especially by the rumor you are spreading!

Please do not spread such rumours, unless your news is from a reliable source. It is very discouraging for people who have been waiting. My I-485 was approved yesterday - I heard it on the AVM. My gc process took 19 months from the day I first met my attorney. Sometimes there are delays due to change of address, change of job, etc. It also depends on the IIO it has been assigned too. Some are slow while others process fast.

Just hang in there folks and keep the faith.
