Hi,

485 application of myself and my two children approved as per AVM. Here are the details:

PD 9/99; RD 3/01; ND 4/01; FP 12/01; RFE response recd by INS 3/11; AD 3/27; EB2-India.

My wife\'s FP got rejected, waiting for her FP notice.

RFEs

It is about the TB testing for children. It is not required for children, but who wants enter into an argument with INS.

Other RFE point is about the proof of my continuing to have job.

Did you ever change your job?

What do you think that triggered INS to RFE you regarding you job? I wonder if INS started to rfe people about their jobs more often than before because of the massive layoffs in the past one year.

No, I didn\'t change my job. As per my attorney, this kind of RFE is very common these days. I did apply for EAD, inspite of having a valid H1B, that too on my own, while the rest of the 485 process was through the attorney. I do not know if this triggered the RFE.
