Its now my turn to say: "Approved"!!
I had a very pleasant surprise when I got an e-mail from my lawyer today saying that they recd. the I-485 approval for me as well as my wife!
I have been a silent visitor (and not too frequent, either) to this site, but it has been very useful to me.
Here are my details:
EB2, RIR, India
PD: Jan 2000.
I-485 applied in Feb. 2001
RD: Feb 2001
ND: Mar 2001
LIN-01-118
AP, EAD approved: May 2001
FP: May 2001 (incl. Employment Letter/Yellow Form)
Approval: early Jan. 2002. (It has taken exactly 2 yrs for the whole process)
RFE: NONE
I know there are a lot of you guys whose dates are well before mine, and I
know how frustrating it must be - especially watching newer cases being
approved after yours, but hang in there guys - your day will certainly come.
