I am a frequent visitor to this site, but never posted a message till date.. Thanks to Rajiv Khanna for maitaining this site, also to Myladoor for the immigration tracker.

approved on jun 26th
received approval notice on jun-30-01
passport stamped on jul-02 (Detroit INS)

Can you please let me know how long it took at the INS office?

Also, when did you arrive at the office?

My case also got approved and was planning to go the INS office tomorrow.

It took almost one and half hours, as there were more than 50 people in line before us. We went to the INS office around 7:10 and were out by 8:30 a.m. Once the officer called our names it took only couple minutes to have our passport stamped.

Was wondering whether the AVM got updated?

Yes it did. I checked it on 29th, after receiving the approval notice, and AVM said "case was approved on jun 26th".
