After a long wait my 485 was approved on Oct 22nd. My wife\'s case has also been approved. The AVM was updated on Oct 22nd. I got the Approval Notices today.
My I-140 approval had been delayed by 4 months due to an RFE. I was almost convinced that I would get an RFE for my 485 when 8 people from the Dec Tracker got RFEs. I had lost hope. On 24th I did my routine AVM check and expected to hear "Your 485 ....". Instead I heard "This case has been ...". I did not believe and repeatedly checked the message 4 or 5 times to make sure I did not enter the wrong case number. I forgot all the frustrations behind the wait from that very moment.
I have been a passive surfer of this site. This site has been the most valuable source of information (except for some harsh/funny/immature commentary by some individuals
