I am glad to inform that we (with my wife) received our welcome notice emails today. We didnot receive any approval update before. An extremely pleasant surprise. We were not really expecting it now. Indeed a very short processing time (less than 3 months).

Yes, TSC is fast.
No, multiple 485 is not a problem.

Congratulations. It looks like your I-485 received date is Dec 2007. It is out of processing date. What is the strategy of approval.

Thanks again. Yes, I am from as retrogressed a country as I can be (Mother India).

The other 485 (for NIW) had simultaneous LUDs along with the one for EB1. That application is still pending. Am not sure what to do with it. Probably USCIS will automatically deny it and close the application.

Yes, less than three months for approval. Recipt date Dec 20, 2007 . AD March 17, 2008. No trick. God's way of easing my pain of my job being terminated at the end of 6th year on H1 with refusal of my employer to file 140 and without giving me time enough for PERM with a new job. H1 is nothing but modern day slavery.
