I got my I 485 approved. Here are the details:

ND: SEPTEMBER 15, 1999 (EAC 99 260 .....)
Category : EB2, India
FP DONE : SEPTEMBER 4th 2000
APPROVAL ND for I485 : Jan 05,2001
NO RFE, NO INTERVIEW.
Got PASSPORT STAMPED AT BALTIMORE on Jan29th 2001.No question asked. They just took 2 picture and did a finger print for the actual card.

Thanks to this discussion forum.If I can provide anybody more help, please let me know.

I was told most people in VA don\'t need intervew.

Had you filed I-485 for only yourself?
I heard that they call for an interview if you have dependents.

Helper.. can you please answer the following questions?

1) How many job changes did you make prior to applying for GC?
5) Did the sponsoring company gone through any mergers/acquistions?
4) Any dependents included ?
