Since I sent response to the 485 RFE and have AP and a vacation due that is why I am trying to take that option for maintaing Canadian PR status in July, hoping to get approval of RFE by July, if so then I can sacrifice Canadian PR status to come back to USA. Yes, you can do so. But, if there is no result in July, what will you do, stay in the CA for keep your CA green card or back to the US for the continuing employment and I-485 results?
 
Hi Compiler,

To be honest with you, I do not know what would I do, on one hand, I feel I should not give up what I already have (Canadian PR), on the other hand, I feel should I give up GC at this stage while it might be only matter of time. Have you heard anyone who got denied after sending response of 485 RFEs (I could sent everything they asked for in my RFE), I also feel, I can continue fighting on my case with the help of good attorneys even if my 485 gets denied (God forbid). So, what do you think you would do, if you were me. Thanks.

Inian, it is very normal not to have your LUD change after giving FP. I was worried when my LUD was not updated but after reading several threads i realized that is is very normal. Since my 485 is approved it is confirmed that not updating LUD after FP is not a problem at all.

What is your PD and application date? I can guess to some extent with my recent expeirience about your application. It is good practice to add your details to your signature so that whenever you post the information is already there. Best of luck with your application.

our applications are concurrently filed and PD are current and people start getting approval with our PD recently.

Can we expect any good news soon from TSC.

I did not know your case. Neither did I know what your RFE is regarding and how you responded it. Basically, if you have proved exactly what the RFE inquired, your case should be approved. You may consider letting your spouse temporarily stay in the CA but the principal back to the US waiting for the final results. In case your US green card fails, you still have a chance to return to the Canada.
