Our (mine and spouse) 485s got approved today. Our applications were
originally filed in TSC in May 2001. After that we encountered every
conceivable delay possible (files were sent some archival facility by
mistake, during the transfer from TSC to NSC only some of the files
were send, RFE for me to show proof of working in the same area as my
EA, after RFE received files pulled for some QA process in NSC, sent
back to adjudication dept. after 6 weeks..) and finally approved today
(as per on-line case status).

How long to receive the approval notices? Anybody has experience
scheduling appointment with infopass in Columbus, OH. I tried, but
the website says infopass is not available in this area.

Did you use AC21? Same area = same skills mentioned on Labor?

Your category? EB2 EB3?
 
My 485 category was EB1 EA (Extraordinary Ability). It was a self petition. For EB1 cases Labor Cert is not required.
 
Infopass in Columbus, OH. I tried, but it seems that its not avilable

- I also tried to schedule infopass appoinmant in Columbus, OH and it did said that "infopass is not available in this area."...
- I went for my FP on Oct 12, 2004 and INS security guys let us in by showing our FP notices & by checking Time & Date for FP..
