Once you ahve the card there is no need to get it stamped. it's my understanding after reading lot of threads.

But you need to change your SSN card from restricted to unrestricted. GO to local SSN office to do that.

I think it is always good to have the passport stamped as a back up. Has any one done PP stamping after receiving the card?

My and my wife's 485 got approved last week and we got the card today. Am I all set or do I need to do any stamping on my passport? I remember reading in this forum about going for stamping once 485 is approved.

If you have already received the card, then no need for stamping.
