It has finally happened, my 485 was approved yesterday after 3 1/2 bloody years!

I485 - Feb 02
1st FP - Mar 02
2nd FP - Sep-04
Approval - 30-Sep-2004

How did you trigger 2nd FP?

I see that you got 2nd FP done in Sept 04.. did you do anything to trigger those FP's? thanx and enjoy!!

Yes I did - I sent an inquiry in June (fax by lawyer); One in early August (email by lawyer); I called the 800 number (early august). Got my fp notice in early sept - did the fp early.
 
Need a Fax enquiry letter format

Can anyone send a fax enquiry of the letter format. I would like to sent my fax enquiry and letter to INS and other officials.

My PD Jan - 1998
i-140 Approval - May 02
485 - RD - July 02
Transfered to SFO July 22, 2004

did your online Status changed??
did you received the Approval Notice by Mail also??

I have recd all 3. Paper notification within 7 days of the on-line status change, going for stamping on tue.
