EB 3 Category ,India
485 approved today.Approved labor PD was June 03.
This is my friends case .I am still waiting for my 140 to get cleared.So this case is not clearly affected by retrogression.Has anyone got same kind of approval.please post

HI SATISH.

IS IT TRUE THAT PD IS JUNE 2003?....... OR JUNE 2002.

Could you please confirm how you were able to know your name check cleared on that specific date? Was it simply the email to FBI which takes several months or was it by other means?

His wife is from india and she was born in india.I saw this guys email about 485 approval.he got four emails 2 for his wife and 2 for himself.

does this mean PD has moved in to 2003? Let us wait and see the May bulletin which is due in few days.
 
Cases filed before Dec. 31, 2004 are not affected by retrogression

Aparantly people who filed their application before Dec. 31, 2004 are not impacted by retrogression. Somone posted this on Murthy forum.

I called the USCIS regarding my I-140/485
While I Was on the phone I asked them regarding the retrogrerssion of EB3 from India,Phill,China. They CONFIRMED that if your application has been received before Dec 31 2004 physically then YOUR CASE IS NOT SUBJECTED TO RETROGRESSION, Thats a good news,this is what my attorney was saying from the beginning, so Keep your hopes high

Satish please confirm that your friend belongs to EB3 category and not EB2. There was another similar case where the person believed that he was in EB3 category but aparantly he was in EB2 category.
