485 Approved - Painful Journey ends

Hi All,

I got 6 emails this morning around 9:45 AM saying that all our 485 were approved. My attorney initiated inquiry on 6/10/2005.Thanks to Rajiv Kanna, all other members on this forum and their valuable information. I wish you all for speedy approval for those of you still pending.

As November -2003 is my 485 receipt date I too expect my green card soon.

Congratulations..!! You don't know how lucky you are !! If you would have missed this one, it could have been delayed by god knows how long..!!

Congrats again and All the best to all EB3 guys, I wish every one who applied their 485s (specially guys waiting for long) good luck.
 
Thank you and wish you all for fast approval. My LUD was changed around 9:15 AM this morning and around 9:40 I received the emails.

LUD did not change after my name check.

Congrats!

I'm EB2. Both 140 and 485 receipt date in Oct.2003. Still not approved. pending cos of FBI security check... did you do anything to push the name check? I just did FOIA, it came back "no record"... so what should I do next? any suggestions?

FightHard, Yes. I did change my address after filing I485 in Dec 2004 ( Called several times to confirm the address change tho )

BenBenr, I did not do anything special for name check. It took its own time to process. I had requested the status in Dec 2004 and FBI took good 4 months to reply back in april 2005 that it had been done. Sent FOIA request to Mr.Hardy some time in May 05 and got the no records reply in 10 days.
