Today we received an email from USCIS stating "Card production ordered.".

This is probably the best birthday gift I have ever received in my life.

As a silent reader, I always thought the details I entered in my account will automatically appear in my signature. Apparently not.

hi ur PD INDIA OCT 2003 which fits in july bulletin and got approved!!so good news abt pending cases right?my PD is july 2004
my case xfr to TSC NI MARCH and 2nd FP oN may 11.
 
Approval Notice Sent

I will try to update as much as possible even after receiving the green card.

After yesterdays email "Card production ordered", today I got another email saying "Approval notice sent".

Definitely.

You are not very far from my PD.

Yes. It definitely helps to get an InfoPass appointment.
My InfoPass appointment gave me a lot of information about my name check and other details.

I would strongly suggest that you write down all your questions before you go there.

If anyone know what next do we really need to get stamp in passport?
 
If you get your card in hand no need to do the passport stamping. In olden days it takes long to get the card in hand after the case approval.

Really - you thought it was helpful? Can you let us know the kind of questions you asked the Infopass officer. In my appointment they told me that my case was stuck in background check and that was all she knew. the whole thing last about 1 minute.
 
Yes.

So far we have been to the InfoPass appointment twice and one time the IO was grumpy and second time when we went it was a pleasent experience.

We got a really nice officer with whom we spoke for about 10 minutes. Since she was very friendly we decided to ask all kinds of questions starting from my PD, name check, FP, visa number assignment, current status, etc. She was able to answer most of the question (95%) and she was even kind enough to send an email for both of us to the concerned department.
She some how predicted that we should be getting something in the next couple of weeks, which exactly happened.

Now when I think about it I should have taken her out for lunch.
