Finally after 6 long years my 485 got approved on 07/13/2007 and the status says

Current Status: Card production ordered.

On July 13, 2007, we ordered production of your new card. Please allow
30 days for your card to be mailed to you. If we need something from
you we will contact you.........

Congratulations!!!
I just received my physical greencard yesterday. I feel so very happy.
This will chg the concept Friday the 13th forever for you!!!
You will feel so good holding that card.

I have this scenario now and I would appreciate if somebody answers this. The thing is, my wife got AP and she will be leaving to India next week but I don't think I will receive my GC (actual card ) within next week. Is it ok if she uses the AP to travel and will there be any problem when she comes back, now that GC got approved without the actual card yet?. Is it possible to get passport stamped without the approval notice, if so what will be the procedure to do that?.
 
Another 07/13 approval

Yes .. finally got that approval notice e-mail after 4 years of long wait.
Just wanted to share the good news and thank the dedicated people here who were very helpful every stpe of the way.
What's next .. do they sent the card in mail? My wife is outside the country on AP, would there be a problem while she come back due to the approval now? As always, the worries never go away ;-)

This forum has been helpful for all these years and I wish everybody should get their GC approved soon without going thru' painful years.
