Dear all,

It all came as a surprise. I got 2 emails from USCIS with card production ordered message on the night of 03/27/2007. Below is my detailed information:

EB-3 world category
PD 06/28/2002
140/485 filed concurrently on 03/04/2005 with receipt date of 03/07/2005
At the time of filing, my PD was current, but EB-3 world category retrogressed in July 2005
140 approved on 05/16/2005
PD became current in November 2006
Name check was pending based on my visit to local USCIS office in November 2006
Filed WOM in late January 2007
Went to local FBI and asked for help in late January 2007
Name check cleared per FBI in mid February 2007
USCIS received name check clearence per my visit to local USCIS office in early/mid March 2007
Filed Joint Status Report (WOM step) on March 27 2007 with anticipation it would be a long battle
On the same date, received the card production ordered email from USCIS

For all of you who are still waiting, don't give up (I almost did), your day will come.

Congrats SHL, enjoy your freedom.
While going through your details, I was little confused. You are EB3 w/ PD 06/28/2002 and also you mentioned your PD became current in Nov. 2006.
I might have misunderstood but EB3 current PD is May 2001, could you please shade some light.

SHL is from worldwide not India or Maxico....the current PD is 01 Aug 02
 
Card received on 04/02/2007

Thank you all for your kind congratulations. I received the card on 04/02/2007 and finally believed that I am not dreaming.

did you receive the approval email or welcome email as well?
is card production ordered the only email INS sent out?

I got the card production ordered message first...4 days later, the message chanaged to approval notice sent. I actually got my GC first before I got the approval notice.

Thank you. I received the same card ordered message, but I haven't rec'd any approval email yet, it has been almost a week. It makes me nervous.
I will wait and see.
