485 APPROVED - ND Jul 2nd 2003

Guys,
After 3 and 1/2 long years, my Green Card (485) was approved today. Got the magic email at 1:30 pm EST. I have been a silent visitor and thanks a bunch to Rajiv Khanna for maintaing such an awesome site and you guys for all the support. Here are my details:

Labor Applied: August 2001
Labor Approved: May 2003
I-140/485 Concurrent: ND: Jul 2nd 2003
1st EAD - Approved Aug 2003
2nd EAD & AP: Approved Jul 8 2004
I-140 Approved: Mar 19th, 2004
1st FP: Sep 25th 2004
I-485 Approved Nov 9th 2004 :p :p
Same employer.. No RFE.. Direct Case.

I am going to go celebrate.. Good luck to those of you still waiting!!

Did your online message and LUD change after 1FP before approval?

Thanks for your wishes!!

My LUD changed a few days after my FP1 on 10/1/2004 and again on the 10/11/2004 and the message was the same.. FP received, awaiting results.

I-485 Approved - need help

Guys,

My wife, son and i got I-485's approved on 11/10/2004 (ND 7/16/2003) at VSC. I think the approval notices will be in the mail soon, and I have the following questions and would greatly appreciate your answers.

1. When i try to make infopass, always showing
"At this time, there are no information appointments available for the office in your area. Please try back again later.". I don't know can i walk-in to newark,NJ local office as my residence is Edison.

2. My son who is five years old also got I-485 approval, INS message showing

On November 10, 2004, after approving your application, we ordered you a new card. Your card will be mailed to you as soon as it is ready.

I don't know whether my son also need passport stampled or not with us.

3. We are planning to go India in mid of December, Can we go without stamping to India.
