485 approved !!!! Magic emails!!!

All,

I got the magic emails this morning once my priority date became current in Feb 2006. The email message from USCIS as below,

"On February 1, 2006, after approving your application, we ordered you a new card. Your card will be mailed to you as soon as it is ready."

I am the silent reader to this forum, but i just wanted to convey the messages immediately so that most of the people will be happy to see some approvals on the 1st day of the month.

Congrats man. Good to see USCIS approving the days becomes current. Hope this will happen to everybody.

Hey, have you seen your LUD changed immediately after your FP 4/20/2005? Before you asked the ATL Senator to get info on your Name Check from the FBI, did you know your Name Check processing status?
 
Yes, i have seend LUD changed after my FP. After the processing date is passed my date, i filed the inquiry with the TSC in Aug 2005 and i got the reply as FBI name check pending , then i contacted the Sentators..

I share your joy. My GC is approved recently! :D

There was no LUD after I finished my FP/Bio, all a sudden I received the approval notice. :confused: I didn't call or follow up with TSC on the name check. I think it got cleared very quick (I'm glad).

Thanks for the info. How did you file the inquiry with the TSC in Aug 2005 and how the TSC replied to you the FBI name check was pending, by mail or what else?
 
Yes, by mail they replied. I called the 1800 number and filed the inquiry since it passed the processing time.
 
what are the steps for Namecheck?

Tha,

Can you please tell us what are all the steps you took for your name check to clear ? You directly contacted the senators or performed any other steps like calling FBI etc first ?

I directly contacted the senators. No, i didn't call / contact FBI and all. I got the Green card y'day.

Could you please let me know how to contact ATL senators for name check.
I don't know whether my name check got completed or not.
So just wondering how to contact senators on this.
