485 Approved email

Hello Folks,

Got email from USICS that our 485 has been approved. The email states that "Notice mailed welcoming the new permanent resident" and card will be be mailed within 60 days.

Can anyone please respond if we need to do anything else after we receive the card. I heard that we need to get our passports stamped. Your inputs are appreciated.

It takes about around a week to get your card. It took me only 5 days to receive my card after that email. I received mine on July 5th.
