485 Approved but still waiting for Card (or) Biometrics

My 485 was approved on Jan12 th and i got the approval letter on the 19th.
No activity after that. Last LUD change was on the 13th that the case was approved.

Approval notice stated that:
The above application has been approved Prior to receiving you permanent residency card you may be required to report for biometrics processing
Please do not take any action at this time. If you are required to report for this processing, you will receive another notice advising of the date, time and
Location to appear.
If you have not received your permanent resident card or get the above mentioned notice in 90 days, call the no below.


Is any one in the same boat?
- Did you get your passport stamped ?
- call INS for an new Biometrics

Please advise
 
Did it just happened automatically or did u call uscis and asked them?
Was there an LUD change ?

I am travelling to India on Feb 7th, think i should get my passport stamped to be on the safer side
 
thats good to hear. also you can try to get ur passport stamped showing them proof that u will be travelling.

I had also got my passport stamped immediately after approval. But that officer did not ask me to show the proof although he did ask where and when i was travelling. He gave me stamp for 3 months.

I hope this is approval..anybody has a similar message online..please share..

On January 26, 2007, we ordered production of your new card. Please allow 30 days for your card to be mailed to you. If we need something from you we will contact you. If you move before you receive the card, call customer service. You can also receive automatic e-mail updates as we process your case. Just follow the link below to registe

My wife and I got our passports stamped yesterday.
They did not ask any questions, just stamped the passport
 
Hi Redlobster,

I am in a similar situation.I just received approval notice and no message change for card or anything. No biometrics received also. Did you get a message change or LUD for your biometric notice?

My FP was done only 6 months back. So not sure wat the issue is...

I recd my approval in July and got my passport stamped in the first week of August. but have not yet recd my card. I called the 1800 no several times and they say it can take upto 1 year. Anyone in the same boat.
