485 approved but h1-b pending

Hi

I had applied for a h1-b transfer on may 5th. at that time, my 485 was pending. on may 10th my 485 was approved and the online message says that the card has been mailed. in this case

1. what happens to my h1-b application. will it be automatically rejected or should i apply for a withdrawl?

2. if i dont withdraw and if it gets approved then would the later status override my previous status (perm resident since 485 has been approved) and will i loose my GC?

any insights please
 
ideally all sort of pending/approved I-129 petitions become invalid on approval of I-485. it is not reverse !! so don't worry just relax and enjoy GC. coul dyou please post details of ur case!!1
 
ideally, you are right. but what if by chance it (h1-b) gets approved. then would that negate my already approved GC? or the GC always overrules the h1-b?
 
Don't worry about H1-B

Hi Newtothisforum,

Don't bother about H1-B anymore... You are a permanent Resident now, so doesn't matter if H1-B gets approved or not! Your status will remain Perm Resident even after H1-B approval.

I already know someone personally whose H1-B and Perm Resident approvals happened one after the other!

So Enjoy your Freedom! Go Celebrate man!
