485 approved but EAD renewal is showing some weird message online

Hi All!
we g0t our 485s approved on Oct 17th while the ead renewal
was pending.. On checking the ead case status online, we
are seeing a message "A written decision was mailed to you .. blah blah blah.. on Oct 30th" .. What could it be ? I am confused

best case

ead renewal doesn't make sense as 485 has been approved...

Anybody has seen such things in this forum


Let me know.. By the way it is 25F for Hight Temps in Minnesota

Since the underlying cause for the EAD application is no longer valid, they denied your EAD application (NOT the I-485). You will receive EAD denial notice (notice of action) shortly.
