485 approved at VSC! One more question.

Checked VSC message last night. Both my and my wife\'s 485 case got approved at 3/5/01, right in the middle of this blizzard.

My info:
PD: March 98
RD: 8/6/99
ND: 8/26/99

I140Redo: Dec 00 ( company name changed)
RFE: Dec 00

I140 approval: 3/1/01
I485 approval: 3/5/01

One more question: Who will get the approval notice, my attorney or me? And how long it is going to take after the message changed for me to receive the notice?

The RFE asked me to redo I140, because my company changed its name.

My attorney filed amended I140 before VSC asking. RFE received on 2/15/01. Replay at 2/20/01.

Same boat. Approved on 03/01/01. Waiting for approval document. INS will send a courtesy copy to your home address. Your lawyer will anyway get one. Coutesy copy you receive should be fine for stamping passport.

Wait for 2 weeks before you get the approval document

It took me about 7 days to get the courtesy copy. Some local offices accept courtesy copy but I waited until the original came to my lawyer. Just hang in there. You will receive it.
