485 approved and pending AP

Gurus,
I need advice here is my situation my GC got approved and AP is pending since i got RFE for AP for Photo.

Should i repond to AP RFE saying my 485 is approved or don't do any thing.

I will still do it. I am not sure why but it is probably better not to have abandoned applications with USCIS.
